Valentine’s Day is a day when we often think of the love of friends, sweethearts, and family members. But their love can’t “measure up” to the amazing love for us that God portrayed when He was willing to let his sinless Son die a cruel death on a cross, so that we could have eternal life if we believe in Him and follow Him.

Here’s a pretty simple project that you can hang on your wall around Valentine’s Day, to remind you of God’s amazing love. I’ve provided instructions (including supplies needed), the words for the scroll, and patterns for the cross and the heart. If you don’t have a printer in your home, you may have access to an office supply or something like a Fed Ex store that is capable of printing from a website. You could also write the words and make the patterns yourself, if you’d like.

In addition to the other supplies listed, you will need four paper clips or four clothespins.
