Halloween is an opportunity to make young ones aware that the amazing world around us had to have been designed by our Creator. We live in a society where the theory of Evolution has often been taught as fact, despite its many flaws.

Cats are often associated with Halloween, so Halloween seems an appropriate time to bring to light the special characteristics belonging to cats that show they must have had a Designer. Many of the kids who come to our doors probably have a cat curled up somewhere in their home. Using cats as an example of God’s many brilliant designs would probably “hit home” for many of those kids

Trick or Treaters Tract to Pass Out

If you plan to hand out candy at your door this year, why not include these tracts that will give children a helping of truth along with their candy? I am providing a printable copy for you.

I recommend printing these tracts on a fall color—rather than white—if convenient. (Of course you shouldn’t choose a dark color that will make it more difficult to read.) An office supply store should have some colored printer paper available. You could buy the paper and make copies of the tract at home, or you could make a copy at home and have them print it on fall-colored paper at the office supply store. If you don’t have a printer, they probably have equipment to print from the website.

After you get your copies made, all you need to do is to fold them in half and then fold them in half again. I have a divided plastic basket tote that makes it convenient to hand out the candy and tracts at the same time. From experience, I go ahead and give them to the little ones who can’t read yet. They seem to feel they are being left out if they don’t get one. They will probably like the picture of the kitty, and perhaps an older sibling who didn’t go trick-or-treating or a parent will pick it up and read it and think about it.
